1. Who we are
This website, argus.ua, is operated by ARGUS Group of Companies, Kyiv, Ukraine ("ARGUS", "we"). We are the controller of the personal data collected through this site. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
2. What data we collect
We collect only the data you give us and the technical data needed to run the site:
- Contact and inquiry forms: name, company, email address, phone number, the message you write, and any file you attach.
- Complaints and whistle-blowing forms: the information you choose to provide. Both forms can be submitted anonymously.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit, collected through server logs and cookies.

3. Why we use it
- To answer your inquiry and prepare a proposal (legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract).
- To handle complaints and reports in line with our Grievance Procedure and Whistle-blower Policy (legal basis: our legitimate interest and legal obligations, including obligations under the ICoCA Code of Conduct).
- To keep the site secure and understand how it is used (legal basis: legitimate interest).
We do not sell personal data and do not use it for automated decision-making.
4. Cookies
The site uses essential cookies needed for it to function and, with your consent, analytics cookies that help us understand traffic. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies in the cookie notice and change your choice at any time in your browser settings. Declining cookies does not affect your ability to use the site.
Note: at present the site sets no analytics or tracking cookies and shows no cookie notice. This section applies as soon as analytics is added.
5. Who we share it with
Data may be processed by service providers that host the site, deliver email, or provide analytics, under contracts that restrict them to acting on our instructions. We disclose data to public authorities only where the law requires it. Where data is transferred outside Ukraine or the European Economic Area, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
6. How long we keep it
Inquiry data is kept for as long as needed to respond and, if a contract follows, for the duration of the relationship plus the period required by Ukrainian law. Complaint and whistle-blowing records are kept for the period set in the relevant procedure. Server logs are kept for up to 12 months.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights or, if you are in the EU/EEA, with your local data protection authority.
8. Security
We apply technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk, including access controls, encryption in transit, and staff confidentiality obligations.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page with the date of the last revision.
